Welcome to Ms. McPherson’s Room!
Students and guardians are encouraged to sign up for Remind.com. I will use it regularly to communicate during this time of school closure (March 23-27; April 6-8) . To sign up, go to their site or app (Remind.com) and join my homeroom class by using the code:
If you have questions about the work you have been given to do at home, don’t hesitate to contact me through my email (top of page). I will be checking it regularly throughout the day.
Students should join Flipgrid (Flipgrid.com) if you haven’t done so already, in order to stay connected in a fun way during this time. Join my grid by using: mcpherson1932
(I can’t stress enough… 1932 is the school’s phone number — not my year of birth!!)
See my ELA page for some suggestions for Journal Entries (link below).
During this trying time in our planet’s history, please remember:
“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.”
Vincent Van Gogh
“Be not afraid of moving slowly. Be afraid of standing still.”
People learn in different ways and at different paces. The important thing is that my students are continuously learning.
